On a gorgeous fall day, Courtney and James traveled to Morgantown, WV for their engagement session at Coopers Rock State Forest. We walked around the park for about an hour to find the perfect backgrounds; from the iconic overlook to different walkways and we even went on some places out on the trails. It was a great day spending with a few good friends!
That same day, the West Virginia Mountaineers defeated the the TCU Horned-Frogs 47-10. In honor of the Mountaineers’ victory, we had to shot a few photos with Courtney and James holding a WVU flag — Throughout the session, we were continuously checking on the football score. All three of us are big Mountaineer fans so it was all very timely!
Coopers Rock State Forest
It’s all about the views at Coopers Rock State Forest. Located 13 miles from Morgantown, a few minutes off Interstate 68, the forest has many overlooks of the canyon section of the Cheat River that offer breathtaking views in any season. The forest is an ideal getaway, and has numerous historical sites, hiking trails and recreational opportunities amongst the forest’s enormous boulders and cliffs.
The couple will plan to have their wedding in Maryland on October 6th, 2019. Really looking forward to their upcoming wedding. Be sure to keep scrolling to view more photos from Courtney and James’ engagement session…
